Hailing from Miami’s vibrant underground, Forty8Thousand is a rising DJ/producer duo carving their own lane in the electronic scene. Formed by real-life couple Luna and Aston, their sound blends minimal deep tech, tech house, and deep house, with rolling basslines, hypnotic textures, and a soulful, forward-thinking edge.

With over a decade of combined experience, Luna brings the heat from her open-format DJ roots — having performed for global brands like Nike, Amazon, and Rolling Loud — while Aston draws on his deep background in audio engineering and music production to deliver razor-sharp, club-ready tracks.

Their debut release “HERTZ” on DARKDISKO Records set the tone: gritty, immersive, and conceptual — inspired by the 48kHz sample rate and the frequency of human perception itself. Together, they channel this ethos into every set, moving dance floors with precision and passion.

Already making waves at venues like 1-800-Lucky, MODE, Kill Your Idol, and Tomorrowland Miami, Forty8Thousand also curates a YouTube series spotlighting the next wave of dark, experimental electronic artists across South Florida, Area Forty8.
